Weather and Tides

Every year more than 25 million holidays and 110 million day trips are taken to the British seaside.  If you are visiting the coast for any reason – business or pleasure – please make sure you check weather and tide times carefully.  Follow the links to the Maritime and Coastguard Agency for advice on safety at sea and general background advice on planning a trip to the coast.  Use the Marine Conservation Society Good Beach Guide website for advice and information on places to visit.  Follow this link to view and download the RNLI beach safety code.
