University of Plymouth

Plymouth University are one of the key partners in the Devon Maritime Forum. They are represented on the Steering Group by Professor Laurence Mee, who is also Director of the Marine Institue in Plymouth, which is hosted by the University.

The University is repsonsible for many of the key research and development initiatives in the South West and they actively support the creation of networks and partnerships. They have been instrumental in forging links between the academic and business sectors and as such represent a vital element in the chain of information provision for facilitating good decision-making.
