 FORUM MEETING
Please put the date for the next
Forum Meeting in your diaries -

 15th May 2008 - Plymouth

 (venue to be confirmed)

 Devon Maritime Forum Update

Website:
We are busy up-dating and re-vamping the DMF website.  We aim for this to become a one-stop-shop for information on coastal matters for all sectors at local, regional, national, european and global levels.  We want to meet your expectations and deliver a service of value.  To this end we will need feedback once the new site is launched.

Local Area Agreements:
The DMF is lobbyinig hard for the inclusion of marine and coastal issues in the Devon LAA, as well as the Devon Sustainable Communities Strategy.  This will require strategic thinking and the consolidation of precise, measurable outcomes and targets for coastal partnerships around the coast.

Work programme:
The DMF Steering Group are meeting to ratify the Co-ordinator's work programme for the coming year.  This work programme is based largely on the requirements and suggestions gathered from the last Forum Meeting and will be available to view on the website in due course.  Once again feedback is invited and welcomed.
